I am now on my 3rd KTM and know that fuel consumption is not the reason for owning one But I have recently started to notice that my avg consumption is between 9l and 10l per 100km in the city. This might just be that I notice it since price per litre hase crossed the R18 per litre.

The thing that I really disliked is that if I didn't get the revs real high before starting off in first it would lug and want to stall. It's a taller, bigger-feeling bike than the SDGT too. Feels more similar in size to the KTM adventure models, which is perhaps not so surprising. FWIW I ended up with a KTM ADV 1190 alongside the SDR.
